TERMS OF ORDERING AND DELIVERING LAKE REGION IGA GOODS
Lake Region IGA Online Shopping for Home Delivery and Click & Collect is a service offered by Lake Region IGA, which enables customers to purchase certain products in the online environment. Liability for the service lies with Lake Region IGA, and the service is offered in co-operation with Digital Foodie, Inc.
Lake Region IGA Online Shopping product range coincides with the selection of products offered in the Lake Region IGA store. Alcoholic products can be ordered for pick-up only.
The prices for all products are the regular prices or sale prices at Lake Region IGA. Lake Region IGA Online Shopping prices are updated together with changes to the prices of Lake Region IGA in store products. It is therefore possible that if you placed your ordered the previous day, the price of some products may have been changed by the next day.
We recommended that you register as a user to use the service. Once the customer has registered as a user, we can take the customer’s preferences, selections and purchase history into account and offer a more personal service. After registration, the customer does not have to re-enter his/her contact information for every order. Lake Region IGA Online Shopping shall have the right to deny registration and close the customer’s user account at its discretion, if necessary.
The customer shall have to be at least 18 years of age and a person with active legal capacity. The customer shall be liable for the accuracy of data submitted through the Lake Region IGA Online Shopping service and for the use and preservation of the username and password.
Click & Collect times
Ordered purchases can be collected from Lake Region IGA at a time selected upon placing the order. You can find the opening hours and available pickup times at www.lakeregioniga.com.

Changing the order
Placed orders can be changed until it is sent for compilation. You can change products, your information and delivery time. You can also cancel the order until it is sent for compilation. You can monitor the order status through the Lake Region IGA Online Shopping service.
Orders are paid at the time of submitting the order online. We accept all common credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
Orders can be collected from Lake Region IGA. The orders are ready to be collected by the start of the pickup time. Orders are kept at the store until the expiry of the pickup time. After placing the order, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to collect the orders together with a map indicating the location of the store.
It may happen that the product you ordered is temporarily out of stock. You can indicate on the order confirmation page whether or not you permit Lake Region IGA to substitute products with a similar product. The price of a substitute product may differ somewhat from the price of the original product. The differences are usually minimal, and the store attempts to find a product that is as similar to the missing product in terms of quality and price as much as possible.
Once the shopping basket has been assembled, you can place the final confirmation of the order by clicking ‘Order’. Before confirming the order, please check the order information.
Once you have placed the order, you will soon receive an order confirmation via e-mail. The order confirmation is also attached to the e-mail with an easy-to-use PDF-file. Make sure that your order is exactly as you intended in all aspects. If you notice that the order confirmation includes something that you did not request, please contact our customer service immediately at 570-226-6000.
A regular purchase document is issued to the customer upon using the Lake Region IGA Online Shopping service. To be safe, please check that all of the ordered products are in the bag when collecting the order.
Liability of parties
Lake Region IGA Online Shopping shall not be liable for damages incurred by the customer due to inability to use the service. Lake Region IGA Online Shopping shall not guarantee the regularity and faultlessness of providing the service. Lake Region IGA Online Shopping shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstance or forces of nature beyond our control.
The order confirmation details the ordered products and the delivery or pickup time selected by the customer. Complaints related to orders should be submitted to Lake Region IGA’s customer service at the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org or over the phone at (570) 226-6000 (sat-thurs: 7am-9pm, Friday: 7am-10pm) within two days as of completing the service at the latest. In the event that there are uncertainties about the order and submitted complaint, we will contact the customer. In the event that any defect is discovered in a product, please contact our customer service.
Potential disagreements between the customer and Lake Region IGA shall be resolved pursuant to the laws valid in the United States of America. In the event that the buyer is a private person, the Consumer Protection Board (commission of consumer complaints) may assist the customer in disputes associated with consumer goods. As a last resort, disputes associated with contracts of purchase and sale or terms and conditions of ordering and delivery shall be resolved in an US court.
Personal data and use thereof
Personal data of customers using Lake Region IGA Online Shopping service are collected and stored in the customer database managed by Lake Region IGA. The procedure of using the register with respect to the use of personal data is provided on Lake Region IGA’s Online Shopping page of privacy terms of service. By registering, the customer gives his/her consent to process personal data pursuant to the rules of personal data protection.
